Building Andersen's Future
Meet our Leadership Team
Korede Alabi
Chief Financial Officer
Andersen is pleased to have Korede Alabi as our Chief Financial Officer. We are excited to incorporate his fresh perspective into our 72-year-old company, and are fortunate to have found in Korede someone who aligns with the Core Values that guide our company. Korede’s previous experience was at General Sheet Metal where he was CFO and Executive Vice President. He is currently chairman of Big Brothers Big Sisters Columbia Northwest Board of Directors. Before joining General Sheet Metal in 2017, Korede held positions with Vestas, General Electric and American Airlines.
David Andersen
Chairman of the Board
David grew up around construction, working his teen years in the summer for the contracting business his father started in 1950. But, instead of heading for a construction job-site following high school he spent the next five years traveling the Northwest playing bass in a rock ‘n’ roll band. Realizing rock ‘n’ roll stardom wasn’t his calling; he enrolled at Oregon State University in the Construction Engineering Management Program (CEM). After graduating from OSU in 1980, he joined Andersen Construction full time. At that time Andersen was mainly an industrial and retail contractor. After becoming President in 1988, the business expanded into healthcare, high-tech, and multi-family housing markets, and today guides Andersen Construction’s overall vision as Chairman of the Board.
Joel Andersen
Chief Executive Officer
As the grandson of Andersen’s founder, Joel Andersen has grown up with construction throughout his entire life. Joel’s passion and energy are contagious in his role as Chief Executive Officer, directing the organization’s long-term vision and focus. Inspired by the possible, he loves the process of construction because it elicits the very best of what a team can do working together. He respects the ability to take an empty site or abandoned building and transform a neighborhood or community, turning someone’s dream into reality in the process.
Travis Baker
President
With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Travis is a builder at heart and is most fulfilled by building relationships. Travis is passionate about Andersen’s people and our clients and strives for Andersen to deliver best-in-class projects every time, such that our clients would choose us again and again. Travis began his career with Andersen in 1999 and has served in several operations roles before becoming the first “non-Andersen” president. He is responsible for guiding our four regions and leading the company’s vision at all levels of decision-making. Travis graduated from George Fox University in Newberg, OR with a B.A. in Business and holds a MBA in Management & Organizational Leadership.

Vice President Risk Management / General Counsel
Vicky Elkin brings over two decades of litigation experience to Andersen in her current role as Vice President Risk Management / General Counsel. Vicky represents and directs the representation of Andersen in all legal matters. She advises Senior Management on issues of policy and procedure, supports the Project Management Teams, and works to mitigate company risk. Andersen’s Core Value “We Take Responsibility” drives Vicky in her role, as Andersen not only takes responsibility as a company but expects its employees to do the same. Beyond her commitment to continuing education and maintaining current industry legal knowledge, Vicky is a member of the American Bar Association, the Association of Corporate Counsel, the Defense Research Institute, state and local bar associations in Idaho and Oregon, National Safety Council, and the National Association of Women in Construction. After growing up on a 3rd generation farm in Idaho, Vicky attended University of Idaho College of Law for her legal education.
Brian Knudsen
Regional Vice President, Portland
Brian Knudsen grew up in construction and has a genuine feel for what it takes to be a builder. On weekends as a child, he'd visit jobsites alongside his dad, a carpenter. Then throughout college, Brian worked summers framing houses and helping with remodels. After graduating from Iowa State University with a B.S. in Construction Engineering, Brian worked his way through Project Engineer, Project Manager and Project Estimator, eventually serving as Andersen’s Chief Estimator for 18 years. His passion for details and team-first attitude is demonstrated in his new role, overseeing all Portland operations as Regional Vice President. With four children and one grandson, Brian appreciates Andersen’s family culture.
Brian Price
Chief Operating Officer
Brian is Andersen's Chief Operating Officer out of the Seattle region. His experience is well-suited to lead with his diverse portfolio by using knowledge gained from a wide-ranging career in both commercial and industrial projects—highlighted by healthcare, research, high-tech, higher education and multi-family housing. During his 26+ years at Andersen, he demonstrated his leadership capabilities as a forerunner in Integrated Project Delivery methods. His ability to unite complex teams around a common goal, while exceeding client quality and teamwork standards define his approach to leadership. Brian graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Construction Engineering Management.
