A 5-level, 370-car parking garage earned the prestigious Excellence in Concrete Award.
The 133,500 SF, post-tensioned concrete garage provides much-needed parking to support Providence Portland Medical Center’s business center. The exterior includes brick and custom-finished cast-in-place concrete. We worked closely with the designers to design a unique forming system and keep costs at a reasonable level. Exterior piling and foundation work was required. Scheduling was critical due to the structure’s location to I-84 and busy neighborhood streets. All materials were scheduled for just-in-time delivery as there was absolutely no storage or laydown areas.
