This project provides the existing Firstenburg Tower of the Southwest Washington Medical Center with 69,000 SF of tenant improvements to floors four through six.
The improvements include 80 new Critical Care, Intensive Care, and standard patient care hospital beds, two new electric traction elevators in existing air handling units on mechanical level three of the tower. Furthermore, the Intensive and Critical care levels provide a new Hill-Rom Latitude boom patient care stem at all patient head wall locations. This tenant improvement occurs in an occupied, operating hospital environment. Andersen completed this project in a joint venture with Hoffman Construction.
