Andersen's fourth project completed for Seattle Housing Authority, Red Cedar is part of the Yesler Terrace Redevelopment Program.
The new 7-Story Affordable Housing Complex is structural wood framing on top of the structural concrete transfer decks. Features include 119 residential units and amenity spaces on the first floor, as well as 74 parking stalls in the parking garage. The project also accommodates the residences with a courtyard, a play area and access to the Hill Climb Redevelopment.
