With all work taking place in occupied spaces, this major upgrade brought the Boise region’s only Level II Trauma Center and busiest Emergency Department into the 21st century.
The 26,700 SF renovation features 35 state-of-the-art private patient care spaces, upgraded treatment technology, standard and rapid exam rooms, triage areas, Level 2 trauma bays, and bariatric and observation exam spaces. A new ambulance entrance completes the renovation. This 20 month remodel took place in multiple phases to maintain ongoing emergency department operations.
