This new approximately 12,000 SF residence hall provides much needed additional space for the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace's aging population, and replaces the existing Gaffney Residence Hall.
Accommodating fourteen living quarters that are fully accessible, the new residence hall is located at the heart of the campus, close to the dining facility, spirituality center, and the main road through the campus for easy access. It has modern heating and cooling systems to keep the interiors at a consistent temperature, replacing old outdated systems.
The new residence hall consists of:
- Entry/Dining/Living areas on each floor
- Office/restroom/janitor area/small food prep area/linen closet on each floor
- Seven residence rooms on each floor
- Vertical circulation areas include one elevator
- Basement spaces consist of storage locker area, sewing room, mechanical/electrical room, laundry, pantry, jacuzzi/therapy room, and vertical circulation.
